I have been featured in several press releases for my volunteer work within our community both locally and nationally. In 2018, I helped restart the Biddeford High School marching band program by making commemorative pillows out of old marching band uniforms, altering all new uniforms and making colorguard flags for the show. In December 2019, I sponsored a costume for Mrs. American which was featured at the Mrs. World pageant. While attending the event in Las Vegas, I also did alterations for some of the contestants. Most recently, I was featured in the Portland Press Herald for getting the community involved in making masks and thank you cards for healthcare workers. The masks and cards were then boxed up and shipped to healthcare and first responders both locally and nationally.
